About the Ministry
The National Center for Church Architecture was created to help churches make wise facility decisions in an increasingly complex ministry, design, construction, and financial environment.
The creators of the ministry have a unique combination of skills and experiences that allow them to understand and address a wide range of issues that churches face. Those skills include:
- Architectural training with experience in small and large firms.
- Seminary training with church experience in rural, inner city and suburban churches.
- Denominational work with churches from 20 members to over 10,000 members.
- A passion for creative ministry and a passion for excellence.
As a result, the staff has an exceptional understanding of ministries, space needed for ministries, and creative ways to address space challenges. They also understand the unique dynamics of working with volunteers.
To assist churches, The National Center for Church Architecture provides the following resources:
- Seminars for staff, leadership teams and building committees.
- Written resources for staff, leadership teams and building committees.
- A network of consultants, fund raisers, realtors and educators who can provide personal assistance to church leaders.
